Chapter 120 - He was Being Too Careful

For the past few days, Zhang Yu Han has been in a great mood. Due to their busy work, both of them would usually spend their time having dinner together. Though Zhang Yu Han usually had to travel to B City back and forth to meet his girlfriend, Zhang Yu Han did not find it tiring at all. Once he saw his girlfriend's face, Zhang Yu Han thought that his tiredness seems to fade away.

Because of the relationship, the staff at Zhang Group hotel found that their Director was much approachable recently. The frown and the cold aura around him seemed to disappear. Even Zhang Yu Han's secretary found that her job was getting smoother and talking to her boss was easier.

Zhang Yu Han thought that his happy days would last for a long time until Li Qin Yao reminded him that she needed to go back to Capital City to discuss the project with the higher-ups.

Initially, Zhang Yu Han had planned to accompany Li Qin Yao to Capital City. After all, Zhang Group does have another hotel there and it was not unusual if he comes and does his inspection there.

However, due to the development project in B City, Zhang Yu Han had already taken a long break to stay by his girlfriend's side. If he took another leave this time, his sister, Zhang Yu Ying would be furious and it would not be proper to leave everything to his grandfather.

In the end, Zhang Yu Han had to reluctantly agree to let his girlfriend travel alone.

On Sunday morning, Zhang Yu Han drove over to B City to pick up his Li Qin Yao before he drove to the airport in Y City.

On the way to the airport, the two of them chatted until they arrived at the airport. Zhang Yu Han parked at the basement parking and walked with Li Qin Yao to the departure hall.

How was he going to survive not seeing her for a week?

As he stared at the girl in front of him, Zhang Yu Han had this idea to keep her in his pocket so that he could keep her close all the time.

"Once I returned from Capital City, you should take a few days off," Li Qin Yao continued.

Zhang Yu Han lifted his gaze and looked at her with a puzzled face. "Why?"

"Didn't VP Mo and my friend invited us to L City?" Li Qin Yao said. "Before the construction began, we should go and take a look at the amusement park. Maybe we can get a bit of an idea for the amusement park in B City."

Once he heard that the two of them were going to have a date at an amusement park together, Zhang Yu Han's expression brightened. The last time he read a few dating guides, he had heard that going on a date at an amusement park would be a great idea. Riding those heart-pounding rides could stimulate feelings and reliance among a couple.

"Alright. Tell me the date and I'll take a few days off," Zhang Yu Han said. Suddenly, he was looking forward to the date.

He will need to bear parting with his girlfriend for a few days and be compensated by going on a trip to L City and having a date at the amusement.

Towards this compensation, Zhang Yu Han was contented.

Seeing that his mood had lightened up after she mentioned going to L City together, Li Qin Yao really thought that Zhang Yu Han was really cute.

The two of them chatted for a while until the announcement on Li Qin Yao's flight was heard.

"Yao Yao, if you have any problem in Capital City, you can find my assistant, Xiao Ye, at the hotel," Zhang Yu Han reminded her. "If you changed your mind and needed a place to stay, just come over to the hotel. I'll make an arrangement for you."

Li Qin Yao tilted her head and her lips curved into a playful smile. "Is this considered the perks of being your girlfriend?"

Zhang Yu Han laughed. "Aren't you glad that you agreed to date me?"

"I promised my grandmother that I will stay at the residence this time," Li Qin Yao said. "But thank you. I'll tell you if I need anything."

There was another announcement for Li Qin Yao's flight and Zhang Yu Han realized that it was time for them to be apart.

"You should go now," Zhang Yu Han said.

Li Qin Yao stared at her boyfriend and wondered if he was going to take another step.

Her smile grew wider when she saw the frown between his eyebrow. The look on his face showed that he wanted to show some affection, perhaps pulling her into his arms or to kiss her. However, Li Qin Yao could tell that Zhang Yu Han was hesitant.

It was as if he was afraid that his sudden move will make her upset. Perhaps it was because she had mentioned his status as her boyfriend on probation before and therefore he was being too careful.

At that thought, Li Qin Yao wondered if Zhang Yu Han had never had a girlfriend before her. If he had a girlfriend before her, shouldn't he be skillful at pursuing a girl? However, at this point, Zhang Yu Han had only dared to hold her hands and nothing else.

She hesitated for a few seconds and wondered if she should be the one who initiated things, but after a while, she decided not to. She did not want to make things too easy for him. After all, they were still in the initial dating period.

Although Li Qin Yao was slightly disappointed that Zhang Yu Han has been holding back, there was a part of himself that was happy with how he acted. Li Qin Yao thought that he was being very considerate towards her.

Suddenly, warmth began to spread from her heart.

"I should go now," Li Qin Yao finally said. "I'll give you a call when I arrived."
