Chapter 156 - A Drunk Zhang Yu Han

Li Qin Yao ate her food quietly as the boys catch up with each other. She picked up a piece of eggplant in her bowl and after a while, a deshelled prawn arrived into her bowl. She glanced at Zhang Yu Han and saw him smiling at her before he turned to his friends.

Feeling almost giddy with happiness, Li Qin Yao picked up the prawn, stuffed it into her mouth and snaked her hand under the table to hold Zhang Yu Han's hand as she chewed on her food.

Zhang Yu Han, who was talking about something with Wei Jun Hao paused in the middle of his sentence and turned to look at his girlfriend.

Seeing that she continued to chew on her food nonchalantly, his lips curved into a small smile. Zhang Yu Han then pulled his hand to intertwined their fingers together. Then, he continued his chat with Wei Jun Hao.

Qi Zheng, who happened to see this little exchange let out a snort. He turned to the others and said, "Captain, it looks like the reason you invited us out is to torture us the single dogs."

Seeing the innocent look from both couples, Su Ming Yuan decided to join in the fun. "That's right. Captain, don't think that we did not see what was going on between the two of you."

Li Qin Yao bowed her head shyly. Her attempts to pull her hand from Zhang Yu Han of course failed.

Soon, the other boys started to voice out their dissatisfaction with Zhang Yu Han.

Meanwhile, Zhang Yu Han only smiled as he listened to his friend's complaints. After a while, Zhang Yu Han tilted his head to look at them and smiled. "What is it? You guys are jealous? How about you guys start to find a girlfriend instead?"

Of course. Zhang Yu Han's comments garnered his friends' anger and soon, their voices of dissatisfaction erupted in the private room.

In the end, because of his words, Zhang Yu Han was forced to drink a few more glass as punishment.

Fortunately, Wei Jun Hao had arranged for a driver for everyone early on. Once he had sent everyone else back, Wei Jun Hao turned to Zhang Yu Han who was sitting at the bench with his girlfriend.

At this time, Zhang Yu Han had his eyes closed as he leaned on Li Qin Yao's shoulder.

"I already talked to Yu Ying," Wei Jun Hao said. He turned to Li Qin Yao and said. "She should be here to pick you guys up soon."

Li Qin Yao nodded. "Thank you, Mister Wei."

"Well if there is anything I can help you with, you must not hesitate to tell me," Wei Jun Hao said. "Since you're with Yu Han, you are a part of our group too. Don't be hesitant to trouble any of us with anything."

Li Qin Yao turned to the man beside her and smiled helplessly. Her gaze trailed down to their intertwined hands which Zhang Yu Han had refused to let go from earlier on.

Although Li Qin Yao had expected that there will be some drinking involved, she did not expect that the others would make Zhang Yu Han would drink so much.

Fortunately, he did not undergo drastic character changes. Other than refusing to let go of her hands, Zhang Yu Han was quite obedient.

Wei Jun Hao followed her gaze and chuckled. "It's rare to see him drinking too much like this. Don't worry. Yu Han is quite well behaved when he's drunk. He will probably sober up after he sleeps for a few hours." He glanced at his phone and said. "I'll go and check on Yu Ying."

Li Qin Yao nodded. He watched as Wei Jun Hao walked towards the street and soon, turned her gaze to Zhang Yu Han. She lifted her free hand to touch his cheek and soon, Zhang Yu Han's eyes fluttered open.

"You're awake?"

Zhang Yu Han did not answer her question and instead, he stared at her with hazy eyes and a sweet smile. "Qin Yao."

"Hmm."

"My girlfriend."

Seeing his smile, Li Qin Yao had the urge to pinch his cheek. Anyway, this man beside her always seemed too tall. She would have to stand tip-toed if she wanted to pinch his cheek. Now that she got this chance, of course, Li Qin Yao did not want to let it go.

Just as her hands touched his cheek, Zhang Yu Han had buried his face in her neck.

Li Qin Yao froze as she felt his breathing against her skin. It took her a few seconds to compose herself and asked, "Are you alright? Do you feel unwell?"

"I'm fine," Zhang Yu Han spoke in his low voice, causing her to shudder. "Just a little bit dizzy. Let me rest here for a while, alright?"

Li Qin Yao let out a helpless sigh. Seeing that he had his eyes closed, Li Qin Yao then turned towards the entrance to look for both Wei Jun Hao and Zhang Yu Ying.

"Qin Yao" After a minute of silence, Zhang Yu Han called out her name again. "You smell nice."

Li Qin Yao laughed at his comment. "Are you sober now?"

Zhang Yu Han only replied to her with a short hum. But of course, Li Qin Yao thought that he was far from sober.

"Qin Yao, I'm very happy to have you," Zhang Yu Han said before he adjusted his head on her shoulder.

Hearing his words, her lips subconsciously curved into a smile. Li Qin Yao patted him on his soft hair and said, "Well, I'm very happy too." She leaned forward and kissed the top of his head.

"I," Zhang Yu Han made a long pause. "I have waited for a long time and finally I can announce to everyone that you're my girlfriend." He let out a happy giggle.

Li Qin Yao thought that a drunk Zhang Yu Han was cute. However, to say that he had waited for a long time was a bit exaggerating, wasn't it? After all, they have only known each other for only a few months.

"Therefore, Qin Yao," Zhang Yu Han continued. "You have to stay by my side forever. Don't leave me, alright?"

With his words, Li Qin Yao could feel his grip on her hand tightened. "Well, that will have to depends on your performance."

"Oh," Zhang Yu Han's voice drifted off into a long silence.

Li Qin Yao looked at his face and saw him breathing steadily. Just as she thought that he had drifted back to sleep, Zhang Yu Han opened up his mouth to call out her name again.

"Qin Yao."

Li Qin Yao laughed when she heard his voice again. "What is it?"

Zhang Yu Han took a deep breath. "Li Qin Yao, I love you."

Li Qin Yao stared at Zhang Yu Han with her eyes wide. Her lips curled into a soft smile when she saw that he had fallen asleep.
