As much as they wished to praise the ships and the remaining volunteer efforts, this battle itself had given a glimpse of how much several members of the Ress Army were willing to help Jin in this war and give his kingdom a fighting chance to survive once more.
It was nonetheless an example that could not be endorsed nor could they deny. The use of forbidden Eldritch magic was frowned upon in schools and in their upbringing but this showed the highest level of sacrifice for the love of their kingdom.
Many of the Sea Hunters knew the cost it would bring to those volunteers who had sacrificed their lives to stoop low enough to use such magic but at the same time noble enough to keep the enemies literally at bay.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
Because of them, the Sea Fortress City and their ex citizens were proud to once again to serve Jin. They never thought they would see the day that they had the opportunity to see the sea once more. Now more than ever, they have the capability to fight, endure, and even ensure the survival of their kin in this new kingdom.
Nothing spurred all of them more than their need to protect their future generation and knowing that they were in good hands had given them the assurance that they could give their best in the battle.
As sad as it was, the mutated warships were eventually destroyed by Avatar Kurma's War Tortoise as well as Avatar Matysa's fishmen. It was tough work since the Eldritch Mages merged with the warships and had hidden themselves well enough that it was difficult for the fishmen to locate them.
Even if they did, some of the Mages who were able to attune to their spell had warped themselves to another location, dissing the fishmen from killing the user. As usual, without much tactics and only relying on brute strength, the fishmen finally found their culprit with quantity on their side and removed any eldritch tentacles with pure strength.
The Sea Demon Octopus powers had multiplied to the extent where there was no need to worry losing any Sea Serpent tentacles, enabling it to be more reckless in its attack for the defence of the Sea Fortress of Lyro. It killed hundreds of Fishmen instantly, provoking Avatar Kurma and his irk for Demons. After all, the feud between the Celestials and Demons was distinct enough to be stereotyped.
But the moment he was about to step in to deal with the monster, Krishna, the Eighth Avatar of the Dashavatara intervened. Once to be praised as the Celestial Enchanter, Krishna played his personal battle flute, influencing the battle all at once, the fishmen that were dead seconds away from the devastating attacks from the Sea Demon Octopus had been resurrected.
Not only that, they were also imbued with buffs, allowing them to personally evolved into Greater Warrior Fishmen, something that they needed years of fighting experience to obtain.
"Interfering as usual?" Kurma asked Krishna and the latter smiled.
"Your domain is the land. Not sure why Matsya wanted you to deal the enemies at the sea.
And seeing that even Matsya's fishmen are having problem to defeat them...not to mention a EX Rank Demon, I thought lending a hand should not pose any potential issues, am I not right?" Krishna smiled gently but Kurma knew that this Celestial Enchanter was a trickster in the same veins of Loki. "Besides, Lord Vishnu did say to help the elders once in a while, I am just doing what I was told."
If not for the fact that there was a battle going on, Kurma would had used his Celestial Stone Mace to knock the shit out of Krishna. But the fact that he did revive and evolve the Fishmen should prove to be a better shield for his War Tortoises to move forward. It was time to get a little more serious for Kurma, the Immovable Foundation, to clear this sea city to make an example of them.
