Chapter 29: Chapter 29- Copy

Judging by the fact that Zhang Wei was unable to reach that stage during their battle, it meant that his mastery over the [Battle fervour] must only be around the intermediate or advanced stage.

If he had mastered the battle skill completely, even Yang Chen wouldn't have been his opponent.

While Yang Chen was looking at the scroll in delight, Amon floated over and investigated the battle skill with consternation. After a while of looking at it intensely, it pointed its trident towards the scroll and commented.

"This battle skill is incomplete. No wonder, a battle skill like that which increases one's aura by a few fold, should be classified as a Secret Art".

"Incomplete? Secret Art? What do you mean?" seeing that the little demon was murmuring something to itself, Yang Chen couldn't help but ask.

"It's as the word sounds, this battle skill here, is incomplete. I don't know where this person got this skill, but it is a cheap imitation of a powerful secret art".

"A secret art is a battle skill that is as rare as the secret cultivation techniques. It allows the user to display strength beyond their original level thus allowing one to fight opponents above their level. Given the rarity of such secret skills, even if you searched this entire region, you wouldn't be able to find any".

"Originally I was thinking how such a small Zhang clan located in the remote cloud city got their hands on a secret art. However, it turned out to be a cheap imitation of one" Amon explained with a snort as it looked down on the skill.

"Wait are you saying that this [Battle fervour] skill is a copy of some other skill?" Yang Chen asked with a shocked look on his face.

"Are you doubting my words?" Amon was annoyed by that question. It was the consciousness of the Greedvil system and had a deep knowledge about the battle skill. So when it said that the skill was an imitation of another skill, its words were as good as gold.

"Kukuku... what are you talking about? These are secret arts that we are talking about, of course, they would be costly. You should be grateful that you even have the chance to obtain them, for others no matter how much they search all around the world, they might never get their hands on one. Not to mention, one that was of a mystic grade is even rarer"

"If you take out any of the secret art from the shop and sell it in the outside world, a great storm would brew out. People would kill without blinking just to get this skill, blood would flow like a river. Do not underestimate the allure of a secret skill".

"However, that is not the point. The reason why I pulled up this secret skill right now is not because I want you to buy it. Of course, for a pauper like you it would be impossible right now"

As it said those words, a derisive smirk flashed on Amon's face while looking at Yang Chen.

A nerve immediately broke out when the latter saw that face; however, he suppressed his impulses to punch the demon and silently listened to the rest of its words.

"The reason I brought the secret art is because I want you to look at its description. Can you see the similarities? The skill that is in your hand, is derived from a miniscule portion of this secret art".

"The [Battle Fervour] recorded in that scroll, uses three profound nodes located at the abdomen to circulate the battle energy in a mysterious way. While the nine brilliant mysterious change uses fifty-nine profound nodes that are spread all across one's body".

"This also encapsulates the former three nodes recorded in the imitation. Do you see the difference now? Just opening three nodes allows one's energy to reach a stage that could overlook a level".

"Imagine what would happen if you practised the Nine Brilliant Mysterious Change and opened all fifty-nine nodes. Your abilities would reach unknown heights to say no less".

Yang Chen gulped, he felt his throat become dry as he intently listened to Amon. It was indeed difficult for him to imagine what heights his power would reach once he opens fifty nine nodes but in the end, the fact was that it was still out of his reach.
